The Little Moon Wizard

The sky is deep and blue. Stars twinkle like tiny bells. A small wizard walks softly. His name is Pip. Pip wears a little hat. Pip carries a blue wand. It is bedtime.

A star bunny bounces. The bunny is Boo. Boo sparkles and giggles. But Boo is sleepy. Pip taps the wand. Tap, tap, tap. "Hush now, little star." The bounce becomes a sway. Boo drifts like a feather. Boo sleeps.

A cloud whale floats by. Big and puffy and white. It sings a quiet whooo. Pip pets the soft cloud. Pip taps the wand. Tap, tap, tap. "Blanket, blanket, cozy night." The cloud becomes a blanket. The whale yawns and sleeps.

The wind is slow. The world is still. Pip looks around. The sky is calm and kind. Pip snuggles in his robe. Pip whispers to the night. "Good night, moon. Good night, stars. Good night, friends. Good night, you." Pip smiles. The stars blink. The night whispers back. "Sleep, little wizard." And Pip sleeps.
