Red Rocket
Miri has her Red Rocket. Bo wears a blue helmet. Miri presses a big button. Click. The rocket door opens. Plipp, who is green and has soft antennae, waves. Everyone laughs, excited. "Ready? Set? Go!"
The engine hums a low tune. Vroooom! They fly up, past white clouds, then past a sparkling tail of ice and dust. Soon, they spot a round, spotted planet: Planet Spot. "Are we landing?" asks Bo. Miri nods. The rocket's sturdy legs hop. Boing!
The ground is soft like jelly, and it bounces! Bo and Plipp bounce. Up and down, up and down they go! Miri laughs with delight as small, colourful balls roll by. Roll, roll. Then, a ball says plop!
They lift off again. Vroooom! Soon, they see a square planet: Planet Cube. The houses are shaped like boxes, and the doors are perfectly square. Plipp knocks gently. Knock knock. A small robot waves from a door. Its name is Pip. Pip beeps a friendly greeting. Pip wants to play!
Together, they build a tower, box on box. High! Higher! Crash! The tower falls down. "Oops!" Everyone laughs, "It's okay!"
Back inside the Red Rocket they go. A shimmering ring dances around a big, purple planet. "Look, a ring!" says Bo. "We'll drive right through the ring!" says Miri excitedly. They drive right through! Whoosh! The ring hums with music. Ding ding!
It's time to go home. "Bye-bye, space!" says Miri. She waves, "Bye-bye, Plipp! Bye-bye, Pip!" Plipp gives them a warm, soft hug goodbye. The rocket door closes. Click! Vroooom! Home they go!
