Mio and Rulla

It's morning. The sun is warm. Mio walks on the path. His red wagon, Rulla, rolls along. Roll, roll.

Kalle Rabbit has many carrots. Carrots fall. Plop, plop. Mio sees. Mio stops. Mio helps. The carrots go into Rulla. Kalle smiles. "Thank you, Mio."

Lina Lamb drops a sock. It's striped, blue and white. The sock lies in the grass. Mio sees. Mio stops. Mio helps. He helps Lina put the sock back on. Lina jumps. "Thank you, Rulla."

Elli Squirrel carries a big nut. The nut is heavy. Ouch, her arm. Mio sees. Mio stops. Mio helps. The nut goes into Rulla. Rulla rolls. Roll, roll. Elli laughs.

Hugo Dog's blue hat flies. The wind whooshes. The hat spins. Mio runs. Mio catches the hat. Hugo waves. "Thank you, friend!"

Now Rulla is full! Carrots. A nut. A hat. Rulla rolls home. Everyone walks along. They help carry a little. They laugh. They share carrots. The sun shines. "We help each other," says Mio. "We help each other!" everyone shouts.
