The moon shines big and bright. Stars twinkle like tiny diamonds. Cub the Bear is big and soft. Hop the Bunny is quick and kind. Pip the Mouse is small and brave. Together, they walk in the quiet night.

Step, step, step. Soft paws. Soft feet. Soft tiny toes. Hush, hush, hush. The grass is cool. The air is sweet. They smile. They share the path.

Suddenly, a little light blinks in the dark. It is Glow the Firefly. Glow is lost. Glow is sad. "I cannot find my home," says Glow. "We can help," says Cub. "We can help," says Hop. "We can help," says Pip.

Cub stands tall. Hop jumps high. Pip squeaks loud. Blink, blink, blink goes Glow. Blink, blink, blink go more lights in reply! Home! A circle of warm lights fills the air. Glow is happy. "Thank you, friends," says Glow.

They wave. They breathe slowly. "Good night, Glow." "Good night, stars." "Good night, trees." Step, step, step. Back to bed. Cub hugs a soft leaf. Hop snuggles in straw. Pip curls in a tiny nest.

The moon is gentle. The night is kind. Helping feels good. Hearts feel warm. Eyes grow sleepy. "Good night, world," they whisper. "Good night, me."
