Brave Maja in the Park

Maja has a red wagon. The wagon squeaks a little. Maja goes to the park.

Loke is there. Loke is a little rabbit. They have bucket and shovel.

A big goose comes. The goose is named Greta. Greta takes all the shovels.

Loke holds his empty bucket. Maja's tummy feels bubbly. The heart says boom, boom. Maja wants to hide.

Maja takes Loke's paw. Maja breathes in. Maja breathes out. Maja steps forward.

Stop, says Maja. We take turns.

Greta looks. Eyes shiny. Beak big. Greta says honk-honk. Greta lowers her wings.

Okay, says Greta. One shovel for you. One for Loke.

They dig. Pat, pat in the sand. The bucket gets full. They build a tower.

Greta fetches a stick. The stick becomes a flag.

The tower stands. Maja smiles. Loke smiles. Greta smiles. Everyone gets to join. Maja is brave. The heart is calm now.
